Our Story
It Started With a Question…
It Started With a Question…
How do you heal when you can't always afford the help you need?
There was a season in my life when everything seemed to be happening at once.
I was navigating a divorce.
Raising my children.
Building a business.
Trying to hold everything together while carrying emotional pain that I didn't always know how to process.
Like many people, I knew I needed support. I also knew therapy was valuable.
But I was paying more than $300 a month for health insurance through my employer, while also paying the financial and emotional costs that come with rebuilding life after a divorce. Even with insurance, therapy wasn't always as accessible as I needed it to be.
It made me wonder…
What happens to the people who don't have insurance?
What happens to the single parent trying to survive?
The couple who knows they need help but can't afford weekly sessions?
The person lying awake at two o'clock in the morning replaying the same argument over and over with no one to talk to?
That question stayed with me.
There Had to Be Another Way
As I continued my own healing journey, I began learning about the science behind relationships and emotional health.
I immersed myself in approaches such as:
Psychodynamic Therapy
Attachment Theory
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Family Systems Theory
The Gottman Method
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Trauma-Informed Care
Developmental Psychology
Emotional Intelligence
Conflict Resolution
Nonviolent Communication
One idea kept standing out:
People rarely argue about what they're actually arguing about.
Arguments about money are often about security.
Arguments about sex are often about feeling desired or emotionally connected.
Arguments about parenting are often about partnership, identity, or feeling alone.
The surface issue is rarely the real issue.
That realization changed the way I saw relationships—and it became the foundation for everything I would build.
Building The Relationship MRI™
I didn't set out to build an AI.
I set out to build a tool I needed myself.
Something that could help me slow down before reacting.
Something that could organize emotional chaos.
Something that could help me ask better questions instead of making assumptions.
Something available whenever I needed it—not just during a scheduled appointment.
So I created The Relationship MRI™.
Just as a medical MRI helps doctors see what isn't visible from the outside, The Relationship MRI™ is designed to help uncover the emotional dynamics beneath conflict.
It doesn't decide who's right.
It helps you understand what's happening beneath the surface.
The Resolve Framework
To make those insights practical, I developed the Resolve Framework.
The framework brings together evidence-based relationship concepts into a simple, structured process that helps people move from reaction to understanding.
It encourages you to separate:
Facts from assumptions
Intentions from impact
Feelings from behaviors
History from the present
Hope from evidence
Instead of asking,
\"Who's wrong?\"
It asks,
\"What is this conflict really representing emotionally?\"
Because understanding creates possibilities that blame never will.
Why This Matters
Today, I have health insurance that costs me about $20 a month, and I'm grateful that I can access therapy when I need it.
But that experience changed me.
It reminded me that not everyone has affordable access to support.
Many people can't afford weekly therapy.
Many couples wait until their relationship is in crisis before reaching out for help.
Many people simply need a place to organize their thoughts, understand themselves, and prepare for healthier conversations.
That's why I created The Relationship MRI™.
Not to replace therapy.
Not to diagnose people.
Not to tell anyone whether they should stay or leave a relationship.
But to make thoughtful, relationship-centered guidance more accessible to everyday people.
Our Promise
The Relationship MRI™ is built on one simple belief:
Healthy relationships begin with understanding.
If this platform helps one couple communicate instead of walking away…
If it helps one parent better understand their child…
If it helps one person pause before reacting in anger…
Then it has already done what it was created to do.
Because the healthiest relationships aren't built by winning arguments.
They're built by understanding what lies beneath them.
With love,
